“A Tender Way”
I just watched Tharparkar and I won’t get into its technical shortcomings as you more than anyone is aware of them and I hate it when the first thing people comment on is something technical. Every movie is flawed and every filmmaker makes technical mistakes.
I loved it. I can see what feel and style you were going for and it’s admirable. I liked the theme of death and rebirth, of despair and redemption that you dealt with in such a tender way. You also have a good eye for the camera and shot selection . . .
. . . There were truly beautiful moments in there that are sure to shine through in your future works.

“Success”
The documentary turned out really well—it got audible sounds from the audience. Its success had a lot to do with your filming, interviewing, dedication, and drive to get the project moving. So, congratulations.

“Tripp’s Vision”
I was the lead in Tripp’s art house short film, “Tharparkar: A Musing”. As this was a low-budget production, everybody wore many hats and participated in any capacity they could but Tripp’s ability to do a million things at once (well) was ridiculous to watch!
He was writer, director, producer, cameraman and bon vivant all rolled into one! It was a stressful production with extremely long hours and voracious Florida summertime mosquitoes to deal with. But Tripp’s ability to rally everybody into action and keep a playful yet professional vibe made my first foray into acting just brilliant. I officially have a new hobby now thanks to Tripp.
I also have to admit that I didn’t see Tripp’s vision for the film in its entirety until I received a copy of the final edit, and then…it all made sense. He won’t brag about it but I happen to know that Tripp learned an entire suite of industry standard editing software and HTML/CSS in order to build his website all at the same time; Tripp, your work ethic is ridiculous.
Lastly, Tripp is a great friend and a fun, thought-provoking person to be around. I’d work with him again in a heartbeat and hopefully, I WILL have that pleasure once more. Thanks for unforgettable time on set, brother.

“Talented and Professional”
I have had the pleasure to know Allen Scott for several years and have found him to both talented and professional. He helped me produce several hospital commercials several years ago before returning to school to further his education. Since then we have remained in contact in discussions regarding the different aspects of production including equipment, labor, finance and scheduling a shoot. It is my pleasure to recommend him as I believe he will be a valuable asset to any project.

“Charismatic Character”
I consider Allen to be very smart, mature . . . an overall charismatic character. I find his ideas and goals to be rather inspiring. He has traveled around more than I have, and has shared with me a lot of that experience which has given me a spark to actually do more with myself. He is a great listener, as well as advice giver. He truly has a lot going for himself, and is a great person inside and out.

“Positive Attitude”
I met Allen while on an indie short film shoot. Even with the typical problems of no-budget production, Allen’s positive attitude and willingness to help out with anything made a positive impression with me. I’d definitely work with him again on another shoot.

“A Professional Level”
I’ve had the pleasure of instructing Allen at Metropolitan State University of Denver in the School of Professional Studies. In my experience as an instructor, Allen has demonstrated an insatiable appetite to not only learn, but conducts himself at a professional level. As a student, Allen has demonstrated the ability to maintain exemplary grades while being enthusiastic about his education. I was honored to share the class with a man of his caliber.
