Secretary
Position Overview: We are currently seeking a dedicated and organized Secretary to join our team at Skyward Community Films. The Secretary will provide administrative support to the board of directors and executive team, helping to ensure smooth operations and effective communication within the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the organization’s administrative tasks, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of board meetings, decisions, and actions.
- Coordinate communications between board members, staff, volunteers, and external stakeholders.
- Assist with the preparation and distribution of internal and external communications, including newsletters, press releases, and social media posts.
- Handle incoming inquiries and correspondence, responding promptly and professionally as needed.
- Organize and maintain the organization’s filing systems, both electronic and physical.
- Assist with special projects and events as assigned by the executive team.
- Uphold confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
- Serve as a liaison between the board of directors and other team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional qualifications in office administration or related field preferred.
